Patience Is A Virtue is a 24hr mother and baby Semi Independent Provider which was established in 2019, in North West London. In 2021 Patience Is A Virtue expanded and currently have two units.
We offer high quality tailored services to support young parents who are known to have challenges in life and need support with parenting. We provide a disciplined, structured and supportive environment which enables our mother and babies to establish a positive lifestyle. Enabling them to grow over time, whilst maintaining choice and control over their own lives where possible.
We also have a strong ethos on the development of family connections where possible. Offering mediations, support to bring positive family members into their life, as we believe this is necessary to develop the mother and child.

Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that children hold, and know that they will mould future generations to come. At Patience is a virtue, we are here to give the support to our service users catered to their needs; in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We have a number of leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives. We work alongside organisations which offer gang interventions, CSE support, Domestic abuse support and Mental health support to our service users.

Guiding Youth Towards Success
Patience is a virtue aim is to provide a warm, friendly, safe and supportive environment based on nurturing principles.
Positive attempts are made to provide mothers with a sense of belonging and self-worth. This is achieved by a positive behaviour approach, in that mothers are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and begin to take control of their future by addressing negative behaviours and making attempts to rectify and make amends while building on strengths. This work is conducted both in individual key sessions and within group work in house meetings. The home offers positive role models through careful selection and matching of staff to meet the needs of the mother and baby. Staff are provided with all relevant training and are encouraged to identify further training and development needs throughout their work to meet the various needs of the mother and baby.
Mothers are encouraged, by way of consultation, to participate in the general decision making and the running of the home.
We also empower mothers to take responsibility for their actions, enabling them to be in control of their destinies and future by being better equipped to deal with difficulties from their past and reflect upon positive steps forward to a more productive and valued future.
